Terms and Conditions - Storage Richmond Upon Thames
Welcome to our Storage Richmond Upon Thames facility. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our storage services. By renting a storage unit, you agree to comply with the following terms outlined below.
1. Definitions

- Client refers to the individual or entity renting a storage unit.
- Agreement refers to the contract between the Provider and the Client.
2. Use of Storage Units
2.1 Authorized Use
Clients may use the storage units solely for storing personal or business items. Under no circumstances may storage units be used for illegal activities.
2.2 Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited from being stored:
- Hazardous materials
- Perishable goods
- Explosives
- Illegal substances
Storing prohibited items may result in immediate termination of the agreement and potential legal action.
2.3 Security Measures
Our facility employs several security measures to protect your belongings, including:
- 24/7 surveillance cameras
- Electronic gated access
- On-site security personnel
While we take extensive measures to ensure the safety of stored items, Clients are responsible for obtaining their own insurance coverage.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Fees and Charges
Clients agree to pay the storage fees as outlined in their rental agreement. Fees are due monthly in advance and can be paid via credit card, direct debit, or bank transfer.
3.2 Late Payments
Payments are considered late if not received by the due date. A late fee of 5% of the outstanding amount will be applied for each missed payment. Continuous failure to pay may result in the termination of the rental agreement and potential collection actions.
4. Liability and Insurance
Storage Richmond Upon Thames is not liable for any loss or damage to stored items unless caused by our negligence. We strongly recommend that Clients obtain appropriate insurance to cover their stored belongings.
5. Access to Storage Units
Clients are granted access to their storage units during specified hours as detailed in their rental agreement. Access outside these hours may require prior arrangement and is subject to additional fees.
6. Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate the agreement by providing written notice at least 30 days prior to the desired termination date. Upon termination, Clients must remove all items from the storage unit. Failure to do so may result in additional fees or disposal of the remaining items.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of Richmond Upon Thames. Both parties agree to seek an amicable resolution before pursuing legal action.
8. Amendments to Terms
Storage Richmond Upon Thames reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the storage services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Richmond Upon Thames. Any legal actions or proceedings related to these terms shall be brought exclusively in the appropriate courts of this jurisdiction.
10. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
11. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Client and Storage Richmond Upon Thames regarding the use of storage services and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings.
By renting a storage unit with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
